This morning, bright and early, I received a text from a good Samaritan I helped out a few months ago with a orphaned kitten asking for help again. This tiny little calico and her siblings have been hanging out by her house for a few weeks but she has not been able to grab any of them, until this morning. Since this kitten is clearly not feeling well she didnāt run, so she was scooped up and placed in a carrier, then delivered to me. Sheās emaciated, weighing 1Ib at 8 weeks old, thatās half of what she should weigh, has a kitty cold, eye infection, anemic from fleas and was cold when she arrived. Once she warmed up, I cleaned her face and she ate some food. Sheās been napping for 4 hours and purring while occasionally making biscuits too. I think sheās feeling safe and probably a teeny tiny bit better already. ā¤ļøĀ @tiny.paws.fostersĀ said.
Little one had her face cleaned, has had a few small meals already and is enjoying being warm and cozy on a clean bed with a heating pad. ā¤ļø
A few have asked about her siblings and mom on the previous post and I can assure you they will all be spayed/neutered at the very least, but my plan is to trap the remaining three kittens and either foster them myself, or hopefully, find another foster to take in a few as I already have several fosters here. Since the location is over an hour away from me, that will be this weekends adventure! In the meantime, the good Samaritan has assured me those kittens look healthy, aside from wormy bellies and are eating the food sheās leaving out for them.Ā @tiny.paws.fostersĀ said.

This sweet little kitten is doing so much better. Sheās slowly putting on some weight, eating well, has started to use the litter box, is grooming herself, constantly purring and loves to snuggle. Sheās even meowed at me a few times for attention which is the most adorable little meow. š» Once she has finished her antibiotics and is no longer showing symptoms of a kitty cold she will be able to meet the others. ā¤ļøĀ @tiny.paws.fostersĀ said.

This sweet little kitten is currently at the vet because despite eating well, good potty habits and feeling much better than she did last week, she is still not 100%. Today she will have an exam and potentially some bloodwork to see if there is something else going on that we need to address. ā¤ļøĀ @tiny.paws.fostersĀ said.
