💛 Everyone meet Belle! This incredibly sweet cat , adorable and playful 8 week old kitten was attacked by large dogs and suffered injuries to her face before a good Samaritan was able to rescue her. She was taken to the county shelter who reached out to rescues for help because she needed more TLC than they are able to offer. After 4 days at the shelter and no interest, I stumbled upon her picture earlier today and decided to help her. She is the happiest kitten I have ever had and she NEVER stops PURRING despite everything she’s been through. Belle is headed to the vet tomorrow morning to have some sutures places on her eyelid to ensure it heals properly and will be spayed as well. The good news is that she doesn’t appear to be in pain and her eye was left unharmed in the incident. Send some good thoughts her way for tomorrow! @tiny.paws.fosters said.
Little Belle has been dropped off at the vet this morning and I’ll scoop her up later. Even though I’ve had her less than 24 hours she has completely stolen my heart, but how could she not?! ❤️ @tiny.paws.fosters said.
Belle is home and did great today! ❤️ The large wound has been closed and should heal much better now. She was also spayed, tested for FIV/FELV, which she was negative for and microchipped. Now she needs to heal and then we can start looking for furever home for her! @tiny.paws.fosters said.
Belle is the most outgoing kitten I’ve had in long time! Nothing slows her down, not even a pesky cone even if it looks a little funny when she’s walking! 😆 How stinkin’ adorable and funny is her wittle walk?! @tiny.paws.fosters said.

Little Belle developed an abscess on her chest over the weekend and thankfully our wonderful vet at @harmonyvetcare was able to squeeze her in today for an exam. She’s spending that day at the vet so they can lance and drain it and I’ll scoop her up later today. ❤️ @tiny.paws.fosters said.
This goofball is back to her normal, chaotic self after a few hours of being super sleepy yesterday post her vet visit. They lanced the abscess and drained it, she’s now on antibiotics and will have the staple removed in 7-10 days (if you look closely you can see it in this pic).❤️ @tiny.paws.fosters said.
Belle took a trip to the vet today to check out her abscess. It’s not healing as well, or fast as we would like so the doctor made a larger incision to help it drain easier. She’s also got an antibiotic cream and we are continuing with her oral antibiotics. The bad news is the cone is back, but the good news is she is completely unbothered by it and is still causing chaos with, or without it. ❤️ @tiny.paws.fosters said.

After weeks of trying to get rid of Belle’s abscess with no success we opted to have it removed. She had the surgery today and is now home resting! ❤️ @tiny.paws.fosters said.
