Currently, Juliet, a golden retriever, is dedicating seven days a week to working with a trainer in order to provide comfort to Memphis Rose. Memphis Rose, who recently suffered injuries in a car accident, is the recipient of Julit’s assistance.
Love at first sight was experienced when 4-month-old golden retriever Juliette met 6-month-old Memphis Rose Hamm, who had recently become paralyzed, for the first time on July 27 at the St. Mary’s Medical Center in West Palm Beach, Florida.
According to PEOPLE, Julit’s mother, Gayrene Meade, 30, shared that as soon as Julit saw Memphis Rose, she immediately leaped onto her lap, showering her with affectionate licks and cuddles.
After enduring a few terrible weeks, witnessing my daughter’s immense respect for veterans brought me great joy. Her face lit up with the biggest smile I had ever seen when she laid eyes on Julit, the adorable dog that would soon become hers.
On June 7 evening, Meade, a single mother, received the deⱱаѕtаtіпɡ news that her daughter, Memphis Rose, had been murdered. Tya Meade, r l Kenneth Graden, was involved in a һeаd-on, multi-vehicle сoɩɩіѕіoп at Wellington, a location in western Palm Beach County.
Graden, who was sitting in the front passenger seat, was taken to the һoѕріtаɩ the day following the ассіdeпt. Tya, who was driving the 2012 Scion family vehicle, received a fгасtᴜгed kпee, while Memphis Rose, who was sitting directly behind Graden, ѕᴜѕtаіпed a punctured lung, a fгасtᴜгed and dіѕɩoсаted neck, and a fгасtᴜгed si.

“The іпfɩᴜeпсe саᴜѕed my daughter to enroll in genetic counseling,” adds Meade. “She was without breath for two and a half minutes and was unable to move. Fortunately, a member of the cast performed CPR until a Trama Hawk air аmЬᴜɩапсe transported the patient to St. Mary’s medісаɩ Center. T neurosurgeon stated, “r spinal ijury is one from which you may not recover, therefore your сһапсeѕ of survival are slim.”
During the initial two weeks of her stay at the hospital, Memphis Rose received high doses of medication. However, as her health worsened, the dosage was gradually reduced. Currently, she requires a surgical tracheostomy and continues to rely on a ventilator. Memphis Rose is unable to walk, and her recovery is a gradual and ongoing process that may extend over several months or even years.
According to Meade, Memphis Rose has only cried on two occasions. S, who has always been motionless, is now resolute in her desire to move once again. Despite being a girl who adores glittering objects and unicorns, my perseverance may prove beneficial during my journey.
Lori Griffith, a resident of Jupiter, started Chai A Dream Foundation, a local organization that supports children with life-threatening illnesses. Through Lori, Memphis Rose had the opportunity to meet Julit, a golden retriever.
Griffith, speaking to PEOPLE, shares that reaching out to his contacts at the Furry Friends Rescue Center in Jupiter revealed something that filled him with joy and gave him a pleasant surprise – Memphis Rose had always longed for a long time.
On the day of the accident, Furry Friends Adoption Clinic & Ranch received Juliet, a confident puppy with a friendly demeanor towards people, from Wyoming Sky Goldens in Gillette, Wyoming. Wyoming Sky Goldens is a reputable breeder known for training their puppies to be service dogs for veterans.
“We had previously collaborated with the renowned tiger trainer, Smmit Earhart, who is associated with Furry Friends Adoption. We entrusted Juliet, one of our tigers, to him for training purposes. Kourtney Hix, the owner of Wyoming Sky Gardens, shared with PEOPLE that we are now excited to contribute Juliette’s skills to the team at Memphis Rose, where she will be put to work.”
Since their initial encounter, Memphis Rose has been able to visit Juliette three or four times. On every occasion, their reunion has transformed their lives into what Meade describes as a fairy tale straight out of a TV show produced by Disney.
For a few weeks, Julit joined Memphis Rose on the trip to Philadelphia’s Shriners Hospitals for Children to receive physical therapy.
“It really helped Memphis to have him on that team,” Meade adds.

Julit has returned to Florida to reunite with Earhart, a process that is expected to last for a minimum of one year. In mid-September, Memphis Rose Meade will make a second trip to Florida to spend a week in the hospital. During this time, they will assess the situation and decide on the most suitable treatment plan as well as the necessary medications.
A new single-story home will be built for Memphis Rose, complete with a porch. Additionally, a yard will be provided for Juliette. Even as Memphis Rose continues to travel with Amelia Earhart, he will have the opportunity to visit Juliette.
Meade declares, “Memphis Rose and Juliette are destined to be married, with the prospect of having children, and Juliette will eventually become an integral part of our lives.”
Earhart is currently collaborating with Julius in Palm City, located to the north of West Palm Beach, for a rigorous boot camp training program. The funding for this initiative is provided by Leeds Enablement, a local organization dedicated to empowering individuals with disabilities to lead healthy, productive, and autonomous lives.
Earhart explains to PEOPLE that “Julit was destined to be a Memphis Rose. However, considering the comprehensive nature of my program, it is crucial for me to assess the amount of public access oxygen she will need. As a quadriplegic, it is vital for Memphis Rose to avoid getting excessively excited or exhibiting emotional outbursts when faced with various situations.”
Thanks to our advanced obedience training, Juliette will have the freedom to make her own decisions. She can independently control the lights, tuck Memphis Rose into bed, and promptly notify us if the ventilator beeps or any unforeseen issues arise.
Earhart expressed her satisfaction with her relationship with Julit, whom she has been dating since the age of 12. She commended Julit’s enthusiasm and exceptional abilities in socializing, toilet training, and obeying environmental rules. However, the current situation seems to be reaching a breaking point. Earhart emphasized that Julit should not be treated as an object or referred to as “itt.”
Earhart accompanied Juliette to the grocery store, where Juliette was introduced to welcigs, sliding ors, gts, gs, and l. Together, they walked, strolled, and explored everything in order to introduce Juliette to new experiences.
Earhart explains that since we cannot have complete control over everything, we are supporting Juliette in her travels and encouraging her to have as many experiences as possible. Whatever happens during her journey is acceptable to us. Earhart expresses satisfaction that Juliette is doing well and feels fortunate to have had a positive impact on her life.
